I have created a two player, turn-based Age of Champagne game via the related Game page. I then clicked 'Create an additional table' and changed the number of players to Solo. Immediately this disappeared and it reverted back to selecting the two-player variant I set up.

I tried this again for Draftosaurus, initially setting up a 4 player, turn-based game and then trying to create a 2 player one straight after. This changed the existing 4 player set up to a 2 player one.
