I wanted to concede, as it was clear to me that I have already lost the game

I got an error: "Propagating error from GS 1 (method: concede): You can't concede if game progression is less than 50%"

25. Mar 2019 8:10 • With Blooms (and some other games), you can be sure to loose because of the strategic position of your opponent and still have not lost any stone. The 50% rule should be taken of from Blooms, or it should take into account the number of stones played on the board, not only the number of stone stolen.

Please modify this rule. I want to be able to resign when the game is lost, and not being obliged to play boring move until reach 50%.

There is a related bug for many 2 player tournaments. Resignation in any tournament game is blocked for all games regardless of progression.

28. Jan 2021 0:10 • Agreed, this rule is counterproductive. Lately I've run into several players who drag out a game they've already won, forcing the opponent to continue taking turns in a hopeless game, just so the winner can get a few more meaningless points. It's humiliating and a waste of everyone's time. When you don't allow a player to concede, you encourage that kind of behavior.
In real life, you wouldn't sit around and continue playing just to give your opponent more points while they're laughing in your face. There's zero reason to enable this kind of thing online.

28. Aug 2021 1:36 • Cannot be reproduced? Look at all the Hex games in the 14x14 MSO real time tournament. This is a 2 player game. None of the games ended in resignation, because the server would not allow it, regardless of how many moves were played.

8. Jun 2022 15:14 • Three years later, and I've come across blooms, and while it's a great game, it's absolutely terrible to have to manually kill half the required number of stones in order to resign. It can still take quite a number of moves to do that.
I believe the thresholds can be toggled per game in order to say what counts as "50%". So don't set it to half the required captures. Maybe just set it to a reasonable number of moves, and if it can be adjusted to each board size even better.
