At end of game two players were on 114 points, Tepnoris displayed as First with tie breaker of 3 remaining (game displays currency as Francs, the rules as Marks) using currency while Lois placed Second with 5 currency.

Only appeared after game conclusion, maybe typo in coding awarding first with a less than (<) rather than a greater then (>)?

I see no problem here.
* The statistic display "Money at the end" is for money you still have before counting score (and its purpose is for you to understand how players are receiving points for money at the end : 1 point for each 5 money)
* The rule is "Keep any Francs in excess of this as a tiebreaker." (see page 16)
* See the game logs (boardgamearena.com/gamereview?table=537494631&reporterId=93749757&lang=en) "Lois scores 1 points with 5 Francs remaining".
* So Lois is at 114 points thanks to 5 Francs, there is no need to give more points for these 5 francs.
* Between the 2 players at 114, Tepnoris is the one with the most remaining money AFTER scoring money, so you are the winner
* the official 2023 version use Francs not Marks, you still can propose to translate it with your language community if you want.
