I love Mahjong, and this kind of stuff is why it's just too painful to play it on BGA as currently implemented.
Auto pass is something I turn on in like 50% of all hands on other clients. Some hands you get to a point and you know you're just going to be closed or fold, and avoiding revealing that information isn't worth much.

Yes, all other riichi majong I played are auto pass. But auto pass also has a disadvantage: when a card is played and the game lagged, you will know someone is able to chii or pon, it's somewhat an illegal additional information.
But, there is a special situation which must be fixed: when I already called riichi, certainly I can't chii or pon, but I still need to manually click pass, that's too annoying.

Sorry, but why do you not just turn it on? That is what the option in the Hamburger menu is for. My recommendation is typically that everyone at the table agrees (because of the added information), but that's outside of my control as developer.
