Group for members of Board Game Trading and Chat UK
Welcome to the BGTCUK-affiliated BGA group. The purpose of this group was to make it possible to play longer, turn-based games against more people without the fear of being booted if you take too long. If you want to play fast-paced games or even create a fast-paced tournament, by all means go ahead, but the ones we launch will be in for the long haul. So, conduct rules are the same as on Facebook and the same as on BGA generally, but the "unwritten" rule is to please not boot other members of the BGTCUK group if they run over their time a little bit, without at least trying to contact them some other way first.
Ideally, add other members against whom you play as friends, that way you'll be able to set to no time limit on any rematches and future games.
*edit* - it is no longer possible to have no-time-limit games unless they're in "training mode" which means they're not Elo rated. No idea why BGA have seen fit to change this.
There's only four of us admining this group (CDextrous, Mitethewarlock, Hartyfarty and Evolvedstep) so it might take us a while to do stuff, but just give us a poke in some manner.
