In The Last Droids, you are an Ecomechanic, a sort of robot repairman in a New World, a world of depleted natural resources. Your goal: to help humanity survive by repairing, recycling or constructing pieces of robots from the Old World. You have to select the best droid wrecks, manage your resources and build the most efficient collection!
Every turn, you draw 2 droids cards and then choose which droid to give to your opponent, and which to keep. Then, you choose to recycle or repair your Droid, or to sacrifice it to build a House. There are 7 types of droids cards, each with unique abilities: water management, harvest, communication, collection, market, shed or house.
The game is made of seasons of 8 turns and it finishes after 3 seasons. At the end of the third season, or when all the House Droids have been built, the Ecomechanic with the most Recycling Points is granted the Medal of the Order of the Leaf, the ultimate distinction.

Ve hře Poslední droidi jste ekomechanikem, jakýmsi opravářem robotů v Novém světě, světě vyčerpaných přírodních zdrojů. Vaším cílem je pomoci lidstvu přežít opravou, recyklací nebo stavbou částí robotů ze Starého světa. Musíte vybrat ty nejlepší vraky droidů, spravovat své zdroje a sestavit co nejefektivnější sbírku!
V každém tahu si líznete 2 karty droidů a poté si vyberete, kterého dáte soupeři a kterého si ponecháte. Poté se rozhodnete, zda svého droida zrecyklujete nebo opravíte, nebo ho obětujete k postavení domu. Existuje 7 typů karet droidů, každý s jedinečnými schopnostmi: hospodaření s vodou, sklizeň, komunikace, sběr, trh, kůlna nebo dům.
Hra se skládá z osmikolových sezón a končí po 3 sezónách. Na konci třetí sezóny, nebo když jsou všichni domácí droidi postaveni, získá ekomechanik s nejvyšším počtem recyklačních bodů medaili Řádu listu, nejvyšší vyznamenání.
