Limit is a competitive strategy game where you take on the role of a nation’s leader, steering your country through history, from the early days of the Industrial Revolution to a near future.
Everyone starts with the same resources and opportunities. But what you do next is up to you. Using Politics cards, you’ll make decisions that shape your nation’s population, productivity, and standing on the world stage.
The game throws plenty of challenges your way, environmental disasters, financial meltdowns, and even military crises. Will you aim for sustainability and work with others, or push for domination? Can you stick to your vision, or will you need to adapt as global events unfold? It’s all in your hands.
Limit is played over 7 rounds, called "generations," during which you’ll guide your nation through three key phases. A political phase, where you pass policies that will shape your country’s future. A social phase where you look after your population. And an international phase, in which you interact with other players through diplomacy… or competition.
If you reach all 7 generations, the player with the most points wins. But don’t get too comfortable as the game can end early if players cause 4 global crises.

Limit je soutěžní strategická hra, ve které se ujmete role vůdce národa a provedete svou zemi historií, od počátků průmyslové revoluce až po blízkou budoucnost.
Každý začíná se stejnými zdroji a příležitostmi. Ale co uděláte dál, je jen na Vás. Pomocí karet Politika budete činit rozhodnutí, která ovlivní populaci Vašeho národa, produktivitu a postavení na světové scéně.
Hra vám do cesty postaví spoustu výzev, od ekologických katastrof, finančních krachů až po vojenské krize. Budete usilovat o udržitelnost a spolupracovat s ostatními, nebo budete prosazovat dominanci? Dokážete se držet své vize, nebo se budete muset přizpůsobit vývoji globálních událostí? Vše je ve vašich rukou.
Limit se hraje v 7 kolech, nazývaných „generace“, během nichž provedete svůj národ třemi klíčovými fázemi. Politickou fází, kde schvalujete zásady, které budou formovat budoucnost vaší země. Sociální fází, kde se staráte o svou populaci. A mezinárodní fází, ve které interagujete s ostatními hráči prostřednictvím diplomacie… nebo soutěže.
Pokud dosáhnete všech 7 generací, vyhrává hráč s nejvyšším počtem bodů. Ale nebuďte příliš spokojení, protože hra může skončit předčasně, pokud hráči způsobí 4 globální krize.
