A spectacular duel unfolds deep beneath the earth. You take turns sending out mighty dragons to conquer territories. But place them wisely! If your beasts grow too powerful, they'll turn on each other, and you could lose everything.
Dragon Overload is a card game for two, part of our 2026 Summer of Games.
You compete to send your dragons into five landscapes and gain majority there. Each zone is associated with a specific family of dragons and can hold only a limited number of cards.
How does it work? On your turn, you select one of your cards and place it in one of the available slot on your side of the board. Your opponent gets the card from the pile of the chosen area, and he then plays one of his cards. And so on…
The game is based on a territory-control mechanism, but accumulating power isn't necessarily the best strategy. If the strength of your dragons reaches at least twice that of your opponent’s in a zone, your creatures become uncontrollable and you automatically lose that territory. This rule turns your duels into an exercise in balance and anticipation.
Dragon Overload incorporates an element of bluffing thanks to the possibility to play up to three cards face down. Incomplete information forces your opponent to interpret your intentions while protecting their own plans.
The game ends when one player controls all five territories, when an opponent can no longer perform a valid action, or when all zones are filled. The player with the most territory at that point wins.

Hluboko pod zemí se odehrává velkolepý souboj. Střídáte se ve vysílání mocných draků, aby dobývali území. Ale rozmisťujte je moudře! Pokud vaše bestie příliš zesílí, obrátí se proti sobě a vy byste mohli přijít o všechno.
Dračí přetížení je karetní hra pro dva, která je součástí našeho Letních her 2026.
Soutěžíte o to, kdo vyšle své draky do pěti krajin a získá tam většinu. Každá zóna je spojena s určitou rodinou draků a může pojmout pouze omezený počet karet.
Jak to funguje? Ve svém tahu si vyberete jednu ze svých karet a umístíte ji do jednoho z volných slotů na vaší straně hrací desky. Váš soupeř si vezme kartu z hromádky ve vybrané oblasti a poté zahraje jednu ze svých karet. A tak dále…
Hra je založena na mechanizmu kontroly území, ale hromadění moci nemusí být nutně nejlepší strategií. Pokud síla vašich draků v dané zóně dosáhne alespoň dvojnásobku síly soupeře, vaši tvorové se stanou neovladatelnými a vy automaticky ztratíte dané území. Toto pravidlo promění vaše souboje v cvičení rovnováhy a očekávání.
Dračí přetížení obsahuje prvek blafování díky možnosti zahrát až tři karty lícem dolů. Neúplné informace nutí soupeře interpretovat vaše úmysly a zároveň chránit své vlastní plány.
Hra končí, když jeden hráč ovládne všech pět území, když soupeř již nemůže provést platnou akci nebo když jsou všechny zóny zaplněny. Hráč s největším územím v daném okamžiku vyhrává.
